POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT CROSS POINTE DANCE

My students and I attended Cross Pointe Dance's Folsom event in September 2014.  It was an amazing experience for all who attended. Every teacher was willing to share their professional experiences and advise in such an honest way.  I have never been to a conference where teachers were so generous with their time.

Every class was wonderful and my students got so much more than choreography.  The Cross Pointe teachers took time to correct and praise each dancer. Technique and performance skills were emphasized as well as comittment to their art form.  My students came back with a renewed dedication to dance.  What more could a studio owner ask for!

Dana Stackpole and Dawn Smith-Theodore have put together the kind of dance experience I have been longing for.  It's a non-competive, yet highly motivational event that emphasizes dance as an art form.  The dancers were treated like artists not a number.  I can't wait to return with more of my students and staff.

Dawn and Dana,

Thank you for an amazing weekend of dance.

Josette (age 11) was on cloud 9 after this weekend.  The classes were well taught, exciting and fun.  She said she learned new things, as well as the reiteration of what she was hearing from her regular teachers. The feedback from the master teachers will be helpful going forward into the season. The venue was amazing and the performances were so enjoyable. She even made it home with all of her gear, a real lesson in independence. Managing the work of  six costumes plus hair changes without help from mom has given her more confidence.

Looking forward to next time.

My 12 year old daughter attended a two-day Cross Pointe Dance Master Class in Irvine last November. She had an amazing experience! Unlike other master classes and intensives she has attended, there were not hundreds of girls in a ballroom with an instructor up on stage teaching choreography. It was a much more intimate and personal experience. The class sizes were perfect allowing the Cross Pointe instructors to provide my daughter with a lot of individual attention and corrections.

She grew as a dancer in the two days she spent with them. The highlight of the experience was performing at the end of the weekend at the Barclay Theatre in Irvine. Hayley Erbert of SYTYCD was a guest instructor for the weekend and also danced in the performance. My daughter was thrilled to have shared the stage with her! We will definitely be attending the next Master Class held in California!

"I attended the Los Angeles cross pointe dance intensive and I absolutely enjoyed every second of it. I loved how everyone got individual attention from each teacher in each class. I felt like I was getting lots of good corrections and learning things I couldn't learn in just any dance studio. I thought it was a great learning experience from picking choreography to training on my technique. I'd certainly loved it my first and I hope I can do it again!"

I loved having the wonderful staff of Cross-Pointe Dance and teach at my studio, G-Force Dance Legacy, in Fort Worth, Texas! Our dancers not only took classes in Contemporary, Musical Theater and Ballet, but they also had the opportunity to meet each instructor and ask questions before and after the Master Classes! Though my Group was very large, each of my students felt they had time and attention from each instructor and left feeling confident and even more excited about beginning the new dance season! I love the enthusiasm and passion each of the instructor shared with my dancers and how all of my students could not wait until their next Cross Pointe Master Class!!! What an inspirational and wonderful experience! Thank you Miss Dawn, Dana and Tyne. The dancers loved it and we cannot wait until next time!!!
